The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau (DMCVB) is an organization that promotes metro Detroit. My team and I were asked to completely redesign/relaunch the DMCVB’s website and marketing material. I focused on designing + developing their monthly email newsletters. The goal was to create a mobile-friendly design that was rich in photography while still adhering to their brand guidelines.
As the lead designer + developer, I worked directly with the client. After creating the approved design I then began coding and testing. My responsibilities included: research, concept development, wireframing, prototyping, UI/UX design, programming and testing.
The new Sales & Partnering newsletters are bold, simple and most importantly responsive. They’re both heavily focused on photography which grabs the user’s attention and keeps them wanting more.
